A second session at Seaman Spit for September! Woke up this morning and could see the waves rolling in but had to go to work. Wind was out of the NW at 30 and Halibut Bank Buoy was reading 4 foot. On the incoming tide near noon a friend called and said it looked really good with above avg size for Birch Bay.
Got off work and rushed out to the spot at 6pm and there was another SUP surfer out and a guy on a Surf Ski. Waves were still working pretty nicely and the tide was still high enough that it was possible to surf parallel down the shore for the long 75 yards rides.
Surfed until after sunset and the waves finally started to die down as the tide when out.
