Pierside Kitchen

If you’re looking for fine-dining for your evening out than a trip to Semiahmoo Resort and Pierside is definitely in order. Pierside decor is upscale beachy and they have beautiful views of Semiahmoo Bay and Blaine/White Rock. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the menu offers a wide array of specialties with a strong focus on fresh seafood. Much of the food is sourced locally and while prices are higher as expected, service and food here is consistently good.

Packers Oyster Bar

If you’re looking for fine dining but with a more relaxed atmosphere than hit Packers Oyster Bar at Semiahmoo. They share the kitchen with the fancy Pierside restaurant but Packers has a upscale pub feel and beautiful water views. They have a full bar and multiple TV’s with sports. On nice days they open up the deck for outside dining just steps away from the beach. Kids are welcome and they will enjoy the complimentary smores the resort puts out by the beach campfires each night.

CJ’s Beach House

CJ’s is one of the most centrally located restaurants in Birch Bay and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They offer multiple seafood dishes but also burgers and other fare. They have outdoor dining on their deck with a view of the bay (the road does run in-between so it’s a great spot for people watching). It can get quite busy due it’s central location, especially on weekends.

Great Blue Heron Grill

Located at the clubhouse for the Semiahmoo golf course the Great Blue Heron Grill serves up familiar, comfortable and approachable cuisine, prepared fresh daily. Diners will find the flavors subtle and the presentations clean and simple. You can come here for a quality burger post-golf or a more formal yet relaxed couples or date-night dinner.

Bob’s Burgers and Brew

Located 10 mins from Birch Bay near the I-5 in Birch Bay Sqaure, Bob’s is American dining at it’s best. Big portions, lots of TV’s with sports, and a relaxed family feel. They have a large menu with lots of salads, burgers, and sandwiches. This location can get busy but service is usually prompt and the food very consistent.

The C Shop

If you’re looking for sandwiches or pizza stop in at the C Shop. They have a cold and hot sandwich selection along with wraps and a build your own sammie. For pizzas you can build your own or choose from 14 options. There is some seating inside but most people place their orders to go.

Another bar style restaurant located right on the main strip is Shores. The atmosphere is friendly and it’s located right in the middle of multiple resort condos so it gets both local and tourist visitors. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with seafood, burgers, wraps, and more American style dining on the menu. They have outdoor dining as well with views of the bay.

The Beach @ Birch Bay

The Beach is a bar/restaurant located right in the heart of Birch Bay and across from the Beach and serves American style pub food including burgers, fish and chips, mac & cheese, and pulled pork sandwiches. They have salads, appetizers, and a kids menu. The Beach also often has live music in their outdoor beer garden.

Birch Bay Teriyaki

Located in the same parking lot as the Bay Center Market (near the Birch Bay Waterslides), Birch Bay Teriyaki offers a menu with fish, meat, and vegetable teriyaki dishes as well as Chinese dishes. They also feature some classic beach food (Fish & Chips) and burgers.
